The Last Great Naive Acts of the 20th Century

An art gallery of movable and fragile object set the context for this dance. A fibreglass jug, in the shape of a head was designed to crumble while being hugged. A velvet chair, or was it a guitar, was occasionally strummed. A translucent screen, made of parchment, and 100 cast concrete shoes were also used as stage elements, heavy and light.

We also designed the costumes, which were layered and distended, to be slowly stripped away.
